Summer Events 2019 at Rushmere Country Park





Concert in the Park 


– Saturday 10th August from 5pm

Kicking off our Big Summer Weekend of fundraising, come and join us on The Meadow for a relaxed evening of local music talent raising funds for Rushmere Country Park. This is a family-friendly event with food stalls and a beer tent and fun for the kids.

We're working hard to bring you the best possible event - once again we'll have a real stage and improved sound system which we're sure will add to your enjoyment of the event.

·         Concessions £8 (ages 4-16, over 65s and NUS students card holders)

Summer Fayre and Fun Dog Show 


– Sunday 11th August 11am – 4pm


Our Big Summer Weekend of fundraising concludes with our annual Summer Fayre and Fun Dog Show. Come and join in the fun and games - free admission with arts, crafts, all manner of stalls, refreshments and a whole host of fun activities for all the family out on The Meadow.
No booking required - just turn up! £3 exit fee will apply, separate charges may apply for kids amusements and trails.

The Local Food Festival 


– Sunday 8th September 11am – 4pm


Rushmere Country Park’s Tree Tops Café is proud to support local suppliers of fresh, quality produce in line with our green credentials as a local environmental charity. Now in its third year our Local Food Festival will once again take place in the autumn celebrating the great quality local produce this area has to offer.
No booking required - just turn up! £3 exit fee will apply.

Heathland Art Workshop

Art Workshop for Adults
Join us for a morning art workshop at the park run by professional artist and tutor Jay Nolan-Latchford from Reasons to be Cheerful in Leighton Buzzard.

Suitable for everyone from beginners to experienced painters, Jay offers step by step guidance to develop your skills in a relaxed atmosphere, whilst raising funds for the park.
